House of Mandela Chardonnay

This classic Chardonnay displays fresh lime, pear and peach flavors which will become more complex with time in the bottle. Savor the aromas of citrus and lime with definite minerality on the nose. The wine reflects a balance between fruit and natural acidity, and the long finish shows balanced oak integration. Grown in the Overberg ward of the Elgin Valley in South Africa.

The Mandela family's heritage reaches back to the 18th century when Thembu Land was a part of a royal kingdom in the Eastern Cape of South Africa. The bee symbolizes family patriarch, Rolihlahla Nelson Mandela. The House of Mandela wines embrace the same values as their namesake.
