My brother in law is a grilling nut. He received a shipment of these steaks and insisted we try them. I’m glad I did. I don’t know if it is how they are aged or what, but it was one of the most tender steaks I have ever had. Even well done (the way I like mine), they were tender, juicy and full of flavor.

My husband received some of these steaks. I always insist on having a well done steak (no pink). He really didn’t want to chance ruining these steaks. Well , he didn’t. These steaks are so tender. It was cooked well done and still so tender that I was still easily able to cut it with just my fork. One of the best steaks I have ever had.

I received a package of these NY strip steaks and couldn’t wait to serve them to the family. I could tell they were different when I opened the package. First, I was concerned about steak being shipped. These arrived at my office and even sitting at the office they were still frozen solid when I reached home because of how they were expertly packaged. Each steak comes vacuum packed so each one is fresh and great quality. When I actually had the steak out of the package, I was surprised how tender the steak was just to touch. I knew I wasn’t in line for the same grocery store steak experience. I used the recipe below to marinade them for a couple hours then just dropped them on the grill for a few minutes. Served with some oven roasted potatoes and fresh steamed green beans. We had one of the best meals we ever had - even compared to one of those fancy steak restaurants!

2 ½ Tbs brown sugar 1 tsp fresh gingerroot (or 1 tsp minced ginger in a jar from the produce aisle) 1 clove garlic crushed 1 tsp dried tarragon (or your favorite spice) 1/3 cup soy sauce 1 Tbs red wine vinegar Mix marinade ingredients and marinate at least 30 minutes turning once or twice
